Container Terminals

SCAME provides a comprehensive range of plugs and socket outlets in the 3h configuration, specifically designed for powering refrigerated containers. The range includes OPTIMA Series plugs and sockets, along with flush- or surface-mounted interlocked sockets from the OMNIA Series. For enhanced performance, the range also features interlocked socket outlets from the PROXIMA and ADVANCE2 Series, crafted from durable thermoplastic material, as well as the ADVANCE-GRP Series, constructed from thermosetting GRP material.

These products are engineered to offer exceptional resistance to impacts, harsh weather conditions, and chemical agents, ensuring reliable and long-lasting performance in demanding environments.

Oil & Gas

In accordance with ATEX classifications, SCAME offers solutions for environments classified as Zones 1 and 2, where explosive gases may be present, and Zones 21 and 22, in the presence of combustible dusts such as sugar, flour, and similar substances.

The ADVANCE-GRP [GD] series interlocked socket outlets and the ISOLATORS-EX [GD] series isolators for Zone 1 are designed to function as standard interlocked sockets and disconnectors, without requiring periodic inspections. This is made possible by the "Ex de" increased safety protection method, achieved through the use of a specialised non-sparking switch, ensuring maximum safety and reliability in hazardous environments.

Heavy Duty Applications

SCAME has developed the OPTIMA-HD line, a specialised range of mobile industrial electrical connectors designed to handle currents up to 125A. Constructed from advanced technopolymers, these connectors offer exceptional mechanical strength (IK10) and high-temperature resistance (GW 960 °C), making them ideal for the most demanding applications and work environments.

Entertainment Industry

SCAME offers a versatile range of industrial plugs and socket outlets to meet diverse needs. The OPTIMA Series features plugs and sockets that are quick to wire, shock-proof, and equipped with anti-vibration terminals.
