Alongside home recharging, workplaces are probably the second best ideal location for recharging your EV. Here the electric vehicle will remain stationary for many hours during the working day allowing for optimal slow mode charging sessions. As a result of an upgrade of the company fleet to electric or simply because they wish to offer charging points to their customers, guests or employees, an increasing number of companies have decided to install charging points at their premises.
This has an important impact on the energy usage of the company throughout the day, and as such it is important to verify that the charging stations have a way of balancing the energy demand during the day reducing the risk of peak demands. This feature is known as Load Balancing.

Another important aspect to keep in mind when evaluating a company charging infrastructure is the possibility of regulating access to the charging points by means of an authentication method such as an RFID card, and the possibility of carrying out data analysis and statistics.
This is usually possible by subscribing a contract with an E-mobility Service Provider and connecting the charging stations to the back-end platform.
